We begin with each person’s circumstances and connect them with guidance, community resources, and appropriate partners. Specific services and enrollment depend on current staff, funding, and partner availability.

His commitment to faith-centered service, restorative justice, and family reunification helped establish the organization’s foundation. His founding vision continues to guide True Service’s mission of promoting dignity, opportunity, and lasting community transformation.
Co-Founder & Executive Director
Vanessa R. Virgil is a nonprofit executive, community advocate, and restorative justice leader with more than 18 years of experience in prisoner reentry, family advocacy, and community development. Holding a degree in business, she brings strategic leadership and organizational expertise to True Service. As Co-Founder and Executive Director, she leads initiatives that strengthen families, expand workforce opportunities, and promote lasting stability and economic independence.
Board President
Lennena Brown-Horton is a nonprofit executive, ordained pastor, and community advocate dedicated to restorative justice, mentorship, and community empowerment. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Human Services, bringing experience in leadership, prisoner reentry, and family advocacy. As Board President, she provides governance leadership, strengthens community partnerships, and advances True Service’s mission of family restoration and sustainable community development.

Antionetta Williams is an experienced educator, program manager, and community advocate with more than 15 years of experience in workforce development, career education, and organizational leadership. She holds a bachelor’s degree and successfully completed the World Mental Health Community Health Worker Certification Training Program on October 16, 2026, with all core competencies completed. Her background combines program administration, community engagement, workforce readiness, and community health worker training. As Board Co-Chair, she contributes strategic leadership and a commitment to strengthening families, expanding opportunities, and advancing True Service’s mission of community restoration.
Board Secretary
Angelica Green is an administrative professional and community advocate with more than 20 years of experience in customer service and organizational support. Her expertise includes records management, financial administration, office operations, and community engagement. As Board Secretary, she brings strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a service-centered approach to supporting True Service’s governance and mission.
Transitional Living Coach & Property Manager
Solomon X. Redmon serves as Transitional Living Coach and Property Manager for Restoration ABBA Homes. In this role, he helps support residents through transitional living and oversees day-to-day property needs. His documented professional experience includes residential and commercial roofing, building repairs, construction support, equipment and materials handling, and on-site safety. He brings practical property experience to supportive, stable housing.
Communications Specialist
Micah Smith is Communications Specialist for True Service Inc. Her professional experience includes customer service, written and verbal communication, client relations, report preparation, responding to public inquiries, and coordinating requests for people with diverse needs. She has studied Communication Studies at Western Michigan University. She uses strong listening, practical problem-solving, and service-centered communication to support staff and community relationships.
Director of Childhood & Adolescent Affairs
Ania Smith serves as Director of Childhood and Adolescent Affairs for True Service Inc. Her professional experience includes administrative coordination, customer relations, scheduling, conflict mediation, staff training, and service delivery. Her qualifications include the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, Psychological First Aid, early childhood development training, and CPR/AED First Aid certification. Her work supports responsive programs and connections for children, adolescents, and families.
AGAPE Family Service Network Director
Laura Cason serves as Director of AGAPE Family Service Network. She is an educator, program manager, mentor, and community advocate with experience supporting youth, adult learners, and underserved communities. Her work has included teaching, coaching, case management, educational programming, career coaching, student retention, workforce readiness, and relationship-building. She holds degrees in Early Childhood Education and Criminal Justice, a Master of Theology, and is pursuing advanced studies in Theology and Urban Education. Her work centers on helping people and families connect with opportunities and support.
Adolescent Creative Arts Program Staff
Bernice Stephen, also known as Mother Bernice, serves with True Service Inc. in creative arts programming for children and adolescents. Her work supports artistic expression, participation, positive engagement, and community connections for young people. She contributes to a supportive environment where participants can explore creativity and develop relationships.
